Or maybe something to nibble on -- some pizza shooters, shrimp poppers or extreme fajitas?

There's a huge pileup of links to get through in this entry, so I think I'll have to cut down on the 'somewhat intriguing' links and just post the 'omg this is better than watching Frasier reruns' stuff.

Remember the Live 8 concert? Pink Floyd reunited after 24 years and performed in what is probably the greatest musical event in my lifetime. You can download high quality videos of their performance (right-click, Save Target As...): Breathe, Money, Wish You Were Here, and Comfortably Numb. Courtesy of AOL Music.

I have obtained exclusive footage from Jonah and Jessica's wedding. You can view Joe and I's antics here. (It's not what you might think. Just watch the whole thing.)

Looks like France is getting a nuclear fusion plant. Too bad it hasn't been invented yet.

I wish I had a large color printer. These communist posters would be awesome for the new place.

Learning how to properly meditate would rock. Every time I try I either fall asleep or start hearing badgerbadgerbadger. Here's a guide.

As long as we're all improving our concentration abilities, we may as well improve our memories. Here's a bunch of techniques for improving your memory. Jill Memse, while she's away at UNK studying English, might find this interesting.

Remember when you first got the internet, and you were downloading things like the Anarchist's Cookbook and how to fight? You can find all those cool things among the most popular free ebooks at printfu.org.

This blog was the first in a long series of sub-par blogs, and hopes to replicate that success by being an early adopter of podcasting, now that it's beginning to get mainstream. A great article on this is here at Wikipedia.

I'm not sure what group this is, or if it's just a few guys goofing off, but this video they made is just amazing - a single shot, with pretty complex dance moves. If I don't have a life at age 33, this is what I'd like to try and do.

After seeing the conclusion of the prequel Star Wars trilogy, a few questions were raised about Ep. IV. Why does Kenobi act like he doesn't recognize artoo, and then lie and say he's never owned a droid? Why did they wipe 3PO's memory at the end of Ep. III? How did Kenobi meet Chewbacca, and how intelligent is Chewie anyway (what kind of coincidence is it that Chewie and Yoda saw each other in Ep. III, and Chewie and Obi Wan meet - on a completely different planet - a 20 years later?) This document explains all of that, and I'd have to say, it's a pretty intriguing read. I'd have to say I don't buy 100% of what it says, but it's a pretty good explanation of the various idiosyncrasies across the movies.

If you are looking to get into the wonderful *cough* world of anonymous flea market buying (ebaying), you might take a look at this site for some quick tips.

Some people will certainly go to great lengths to get 'natural light' in their cubicles. The catch is, you need to be near an outside wall you'd be willing to drill into to begin with, so this is pretty stupid.

There's a nice page over at the newseum that allows you to view images and pdfs of the front pages of 430 newspapers around the world, every day. It might work great if you were looking for regional trends of top headlines.

Here's a page where you can make your own chat cord. Why is this so great? You've undoubtedly seen commercials for VOIP services like Vonage or Time Warner Digital Phone Service©. Skype offers more & better services for dirt cheap (rates are by-the-minute), but is only available for calling via your computer. This $10 project allows you to hook your home telephone network and use it with Skype, enabling you to use what might be the ideal, cheap, flexible home phone setup.

This page's title is "EXCITING LINKS FOR BORING DAYS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER". Pretty much self-explanitory.

Because NO link collection is complete without a cat link, here's a bunch of pregnant cats.

A surprisingly fun game is this bubblewrap simulator. Try "Manic Mode" for super extra fun.

Here's a video of a very, very young North Korean girl playing the xylophone with such dexterity that would rival even Jason Jerger. She doesn't even look at her hands.

Here's a novel idea: The first in a series of online banjo lessons. The second lesson is released when 5 people turn in recordings of themselves playing the first lesson. The site also has guitar lessons.

This is a fun Flash app that shows a liquid man who follows your mouse. Surprisingly hypnotic.

This is pretty funny (also, no link collection is complete without puppets). Statler & Waldorf review movies from their infamous balcony. They rank movies by how fast they would drive to see them, the max being 35 mph.

This is cool: a Gmaps pedometer. Here's my route to campus.

Some guy made a model F-14, and recorded this cool video of it. This beast really flies, and actually uses two miniature jet engines.

Anyone besides me see Tron? Didn't think so. Then you'll never appreciate the beauty of this real-life lightcycle game. I'm thinking they should use these instead of mountain bikes.

This is a little bit twisted. This photographer took subjects' childhood pictures and incorporated half of their current faces into them. You really should see this to realize the full effect.

Fed up with Dell? You're not alone. They recently closed their tech support forums, since they were chock full of complaints.

Holy cats, I think I need to do this more often. I'd be willing to, but only if I was sure people would read it. Vote or DIE.
Should I keep doing this 'Weekly Links' thing?
